It’s good news for us in November as we celebrate our achievements one year on from the big Shell switch, this month has seen our biggest allocation of democratic budgeting spend yet. Our customer members are helping to support a people-powered transition around us this month to the tune of over $20,000.00!
As per our three rounds of democratic voting, our rank-and-file customer members voted to spend $100,000.00 on doing good works with the balance of our income for the year to be reinvested back into growing our cooperative. If we exceed our income expectations then how we should manage that windfall will come back to our customer members too.
At the end of September, we provided a full quarterly update on income and expenditure. As per October’s report, November’s report contains an update on the spending as per our democratic budget for the month.
Note that the numbers on the table below relate to the project numbers on the democratic ballot.
