50% off home Thermal Envelope Assessments | For over a year, Earthworker Smart Energy Cooperative has offered CoPower customers a 10% discount on our Thermal Envelope Assessments. This assessment offers customers with the advice needed to get their homes more comfortable, energy efficient and eco-friendly. To ensure more Victorian CoPower customers can access this service, we are requesting CoPower support a 50% discount on Thermal Envelope Assessments. ESEC’s Thermal Envelope Assessment is a comprehensive assessment of the energy efficiency draughts and thermal performance of the home. As the Victorian government has just released new minimum standards for rentals, including insulation and draught-proofing, this service can also be used by landlords and renters looking to get informed advice on what upgrades are needed in the home. The in-home assessment takes approximately two hours and includes discussion around a customer’s priorities, energy use and comfort requirements. After the assessment, the assessor produces a written, tailored report advising range of specific upgrade advice, options and tips. Full cost of a Thermal Envelope Assessment is $275 including GST. CoPower funded 50% discount = 137.50 inc GST Number of discounts offered = 51 |

Draught-proofing support | Up to 25% of winter heat loss from Victorian housing stock is caused by draughts. Draught-proofing stops draughts from entering the home, making it more energy efficient and comfortable. Households will use less energy to heat and cool their home, saving on their bills and lowering carbon emissions. Earthworker Smart Energy Cooperative offers full draught-proofing installation services across Victoria. We install durable, Australian-made weather seals that stops heat loss in its tracks. To help CoPower customers save on their bills and lower emissions, we propose the member benefit fund offer $350 per customer to support a draught-proofing installation. This will incentivise households invest in a quality service that will last for decades. $350 per customer to a maximum of $7000 will fund 20 customers to receive a discounted service. |
